DC Engineering Group is a Transportation and Civil Engineering firm based in Santa Fe Springs California providing Transportation and Civil Engineering services to numerous local and regional agencies along with the private development community. DC Engineering Group has extensive experience in traffic and civil engineering design, transportation planning, and QA/QC for major Transportation Projects in southern California. DC Engineering is a certified DBE and SBE company.
DC Engineering group’s staff has more than 50 plus years of engineering experience, including providing transportation engineering design and traffic studies for numerous design-build, design bid-build, and private development projects, including the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project and currently the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project.

Morteza Delpasand P.E., T.E.
Mr. Delpasand has over 36 years of engineering experience which include over 28 years of professional transportation engineering experience primarily with City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation and four years with Bureau of Engineering. Mr. Delpasand was the Engineer in charge of reviewing Signal Design plans and Geometric plans for all Metro Rail, Metro and all other Governmental agencies projects prior to retiring from the City. Mr. Delpasand’s experience in the public sector as part of the Public Infrastructure Delivery team for the City of Los Angeles provided expert knowledge of all facets of traffic engineering and planning. Mr. Delpasand’s roles and responsibilities were to ensure LADOT policies and standards were maintained. Since 2012 Mr. As owner and principal engineer of DC Engineering Group Mr. Delpasand has managed numerous engineering and planning projects such as the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening project and the Crenshaw/LAX LRT project in the City of Los Angeles. Mr. Delpasand is a registered professional Civil and Traffic engineer in the state of California.
Aaron Calderon
Mr. Calderon has over 23 years of experience in designing and managing transportation engineering projects in the southern California region. He has extensive experience in coordinating with public agencies, community interest groups and utility companies. Mr. Calderon has prepared numerous transportation related PS&E packages for regional and municipal agencies such as Caltrans, the Los Angeles County, MTA and various city transportation departments throughout the Southern California Region. Mr. Calderon has managed several large-scale Transportation projects has also conducted traffic impact studies and prepared reports for several environmental documents.
